House of Flying Daggers

This movie is some Bad Chinese Fighting Porn - i.e. you spend your time sitting through the dialogue scenes (which, yawn,) waiting for the next fight scene, and when that arrives it's never as good as you think it will be. Ziyi Zhang ? Looks an awful lot like Alyssa Milano. Takeshi Kaneshiro (Jin)? Ridiculously hot. Andy Lau Tak Wah (Leo)? Dude has some serious hairplugs. It's not that I don't enjoy this kind of movie, but let's face it, it's no Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I just couldn't get into it and, by the end, I was stiffling a bad case of the giggles and hoping they would all just die already.
