Kicking and Screaming

Will Ferrell is a funny man! With the squinting and the childish delight and the boundless energy! I love him. I have so much good will for him after Elf. I mean, I even forgave him the ending of Elf because the man made me fall out of my seat laughing when he ran into a wall. There's not much this guy could do that I wouldn't giggle and snigger at uncontrollably.

That said, Kicking and Screaming definitely has some funny parts. The coffee bit is awesome. Mike Ditka is really awesome. And the bit with the butcher was again fall out of my seat funny. You know what's not funny? The whiney kid, the player's parents and that meathead Robert Duvall, who almost ruined the movie for me. This movie needed less of them and more of Ferrell.
